Yalkut Chadash by Rabbi Yisrael ben Binyamin of Belżec, a collection from midrashim of Chazal and kabbalistic works, organized according to the opening names. Printed by Uri Veivish. Relatively early edition, Amsterdam 1659. 202 leaves in the original, this copy ends on leaf 199. Categorized as a rare book by the National Library.
Stains and wear, spine partially detached, overall good condition.
Various notes on the title page and the back, as well as the end of the book, are long and significant, not checked thoroughly.
The author, Rabbi Yisrael ben Binyamin of Belżec, was a rabbi there as well as Slotzk and Lublin. He also wrote the book Tiferet Yisrael. He was saved from the gezeirot of 1648 and wrote a drasha and eulogies for those who perished.
