Large bundle of writings, more than 120 leaves of shiurim, committee meetings, drashot, and more. A treasure trove of chiddushim and mussar ideas, written by hand by Rabbi Haim Shmuelevitz, head of the Mir yeshiva.

Chiddushim from many periods of the years, some written during times of difficult, such as a number of shiurim under the title “in the Hadassah Hospital”, or in a mussar conversation opening with “don’t fear, especially during war”. The lessons and sichot also have added to them notes where and when they were written, and indices before each collection of shiurim or mussar. Among the shiurim are various notes handwritten, calculations of tzedakah or other matters, and he mentions by name a number of times his son Rabbi Refael Shmuelevitz, head of the Mir yeshiva.

126 written leaves, mostly on both sides of the leaf. Pages detached, good condition.

Rabbi Moshe Feinstock wrote about him: “The entire world rests on the shoulders of Rabbi Haim.” Rabbi Haim Leib Shmuelevitz (1902-1979) was nicknamed „Haim Stochiner” after his city of birth, Stochin. He served as Rosh Yeshivat Mir in Lithuania, succeeding his father-in-law, while they were in Shanghai during World War II and then in Israel.
