Gaon Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank (1874-1961) was a great posek of his generation, a founder of the Chief Rabbinate and served as Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi of Jerusalem between 1936-1961.

Rabbi Yitzhak Yaakov Wechtfeugel (1887-1978) was Rosh Yeshivat Meah She’arim, Av Beit Din of the Ashkenazi community in Jerusalem, and a leader of the Mizrahi movement in Jerusalem, and Ra’avad of the Beit Din Gadol.
