Lily Novodvorsky-Prover (1913-2009) was born in England. She painted many rabbinical figures and the old Jewish towns. Hundreds of her paintings are in homes around the country and the world, and many of her works are owned by those who knew her personally.
This album comes from the estate of a family of acquaintances and may have been personally given to them by the painter.
