Despite the wonderful and grandiose initiative of the above-mentioned publisher to print all the Shas commentaries under one roof in a huge volume, in fact only Maschet Brachot was printed from this edition.

The second title page has a stamp: “Shalom Yitzhak ben Rabbi David Ben Zion Leviton, Av Beit Din of Švėkšna [Lithuania].” – Rabbi Shalom Yitzhak Leviton hy”d (1878-1941) was the son of Rabbi David Ben Zion. He was Rabbi of Oslo (Norway) and then Av Beit Din in Lithuania. He was a gaon and fruitful author who wrote many books in a variety of disciplines: Divrei Shalom, Yalkut HaDrush, Minchas Shai, Sukat Shalom. He perished in the Shoah.
