“Questions and answers of Rabbi Shlomo ben Aderet (the Rashba), who enlightened the Jews with his Torah and wisdom”, a foundational halachic work by a Rishon, printed in Vienna in 1812. [2], 153 leaves. Approbation from the gaon Rabbi Mordechai Bennett, Av Beit Din of Niklasburg, written in nice rhymes. Original antique binding? Inscribed, defective spine, stains, a few moth holes, moth damage limited to a few places, mostly not on text, rear binding is detached, overall fair to good condition.

Title page has signature: “Rabbi Naftali Halpert of Sighet”. Also in Hungarian. In addition is a stamp with that name. Additional stamp: “Shalom Herzfeld Buchbinder.”
