Gvul Binyamin, drashot for the parshiyot and haftarot, moadim, marriages, brit milahs, and eulogies for gedolim of the period, by Rabbi Binyamin HaKohen. First edition, probably the only edition and from the author’s lifetime. Catalogued as rare by the National Library. [1], 217, 140, [2] leaves in the original—this copy ends on leaf 132 from the second pagination.

At the end are long and detailed indices. Leaf 212 has a long eulogy for Rabbi Moshe Zechut, with a kina at the end for his death.

Leaf 93 (from the second pagination) has a poem in Aramaic said by the author at a seudah for a siyyum halachot of the Rif (See: Otzer HaShira v’HaPiyyut”, vol. 3, p. 75, #137).

Thick volume, new binding, tape on the title page and the back, light defects, moth tunnelling in the margins without damage to the text, stains, overall good condition.
