Lot 016:
Book full of droshim and chiddushim on the Holy Land, by Gaon Rabbi David ben Shimon, known as the Dvash (Ra’avad for the Western Eida in Jerusalem, 1824-1880). Printed by Yisrael Bak, including the pamphlet of indices called “Ulam HaSha’ar, ” 203 leaves. (S. HaLevi Sifrei Yerushalayim 72).
Stains and a tear with light missing bit of text on the title page, the title page is partially detached, otherwise very good condition.
When it was published, the sages of Israel blessed the author for imparting his knowledge. See more of the author in his book “Matzor Dvash.”
