Interesting correspondences between children about memories, such as longing for the Land of Israel before and after World War II, before the establishment of the state, words of hope for the peace and tranquility of the land.
Among the stories is a drasha from a bar mitzvah, a few pages long, from the 1930s
Many children’s illustrations and prizes taped onto the pages, as well as delicate pencil illustrations.
One of the stories has a note in pencil from a boy with two farmers holding shovels. In the center is a person wearing a tallis and two farmers beside him.
Some of the books have leather bindings, with copper-engraved tags like the Kotel, Tel Hai kibbutz, and more.
Most are written in Hebrew. A treasure of family history, gathered over many years from a variety of sources and countries of origin. These books haven’t been checked thoroughly. Photographs show just a taste of the collection. Various condition and wear.
