Buyer's premium:

A notice of protest by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Tenenbaum against the Belz (Machzikei Dat) community in Munkatch. He describes at length his unsuccessful attempts to broker peace, and criticizes the Belz community strongly and calls upon people to separate from them.

On the back of the printed notice one could write the addressee’s name. This notice was sent across Galicia and Hungary to be placed on the walls of Batei Midrash, and Rabbi Menachem Mendel indeed writes: “I request if it is possible that it be placed on the walls of the Beit Midrash or synagogue.” Extremely rare, not in the bibliographic database.

21.5x30cm, small hole in the left side of the leaf, light tears in the margins, creases, overall good condition.
