Approbations from tzaddikim of the period in which they bless the purchasers/readers of the book. The Admor Imrei Yosef of Spinka: “you will be blessed with great goodness and nachat and the gates of plenty will be opened to you.”. Admor Rabbi Moshe Panet of Desh: “You will be influenced from the stores of heaven with plenty, blessings, and life.” Additional approbations from the gaon Rabbi Yuda Greenwald, Av Beit Din of Satmar, and Admorim and other rabbis.

At the end are 5 leaves of subscribers from all over Ashkenaz. Brittle paper, binding detached, a group of pages is detached, old binding, otherwise overall good condition.

The author was an etrog merchant, Rabbi Avigdor Weinberger, who lived in a town in Romania called Somkota Mara in the Satu-Mora district in northern Transylvania. This book was very popular and within five years had been printed in 7 editions, more than 25,000 copies! Three editions were also published in Yiddish (1902, 1905, 1911) and were spread widely.
