An exegesis on Masechet Avot by Rabbi Moshe Alshich, with the commentary Chasdei Avot by Rabbeinu HaHida. Printed in Warsaw 1862. 26 leaves. Old worn binding, stains, overall good condition.
The title page has the signature: “belongs to Yosef David ben Rabbi Aharon”—Rabbi Yosef David Brandwein, son of the Admor Rabbi Aharon of Stretin-Meplestin, descendant of the Alik-Stretin dynasty. He wrote the Keter Malchut on the Torah and moadim and aggadot. He was son-in-law of Rabbi Mendel of Galgov and father-in-law of Rabbi Pinchas ben Rabbi David Beiderman of Lalov.
