On the Torah and holidays, by Rabbi Shmuel Ginzler, Av Beit Din of Oberwischau for 45 years. First edition, Marmarosh-Sighet 1912. [4], 156 leaves originally, this copy lacks a last leaf.

Brought to the publisher by his grandson, who also wrote a long introduction (Rabbi Eliyahu Sternhall).

Pages 65-71 include “Mili d’Hespida”, two eulogies written by the author on Admorim Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz and Rabbi Menachem Mendel the Tzemach Tzaddik of Vizhnitz, in which he mentions other tzaddikim.

Page 139 has a “drosh I gave on the 13th of Av of 1910 [18th of August] at the Great Synagogue of Oberwischau for the 80th birthday of Emperor Franz Joseph.

The title page has an important stamp: “Yekutiel Yehuda Greenwald ben Admor Gahatz Maharam of Avdak Khust, son of the author of the Arugas HaBosem of Ungvar.” Additional signature: “Moshe Greenwald” [?].

Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Greenwald was the son of Rabbi Moshe of Khust, the Arugas HaBosem. He served as rabbi in the community of Yare. He died in 1934.
