Buyer's premium:

1. Jerusalem amulet, “for preservation from plague, burning, harm, the evil eye, evil decrees, magic, and all other bad things. Remedies for sickness…and many other pains…”. With kabbalistic illustrations, holy names, and more. 33.5x22cm. Defects and tears professionally repaired, with light damage to the text.

2. Especially rare! Envelope for the above Jerusalem amulet, “a spiritual shelter for emergencies (war)”. Stains, light defects. The clasp is torn and missing.

3. Sefer Magen L’Kol Tzara. Title page: “This is a picture of the Heichal HaKodesh of the Segula synagogue named after Aba Shalom Shabazi, Netanya”, printed by Tshuva Netanya. The National Library states that it is probably around 1950. The first page has as portrait of “Mr. Moshe Bashari, head of the yeshiva and manager of the institution”. First page: “Today I hereby gave before you a segulat tzaddikim…a prayer for the sick from Aba Shalom Shabazi…”. [1], 17 pages, portrait. 11.5cm. Overall very good condition.

4. Envelope with stamp of “Rabbi Rachamim Yeshuah…Jerusalem, Israel.”

5. “My dear brothers I read in a book an old manuscript, whoever reads Min HaMeitzer…will be saved from all evils…the kavana is for IDF soldiers and reservists…and for Israeli citizens…avda ze’ira Nehemiah Mizrahi Jerusalem.” Printed by HaShachar Jerusalem, Adar 1968. With various prayers and a “segula for preservation” from Rabbi Yehuda Patya and Tefillat HaDerech. 15 pages. 12cm. Overall good condition.

6. Rare: Lone printed page, “segulah for shabbat beshalach to say during Shirat HaYam…this segulah is tried and tested and one should not speak against it or hesitate at all…Yodei Dvar”. Printed by HaShachar Jerusalem. We haven’t found this page at all among collections of ephemera in Israel. [1] leaf in pink. 13.5x17cm. Tears in the margins.

7. Rare: “Large amulet in quality and quantity”, a whisper against the Evil Eye. At the top of the leaf: “Rabbi Meir baal HaNes, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochay, Rabbi Eliezer, his son Ramba Neeman Rashbi and his 10 friends.” Amulet leaf with holy names and angelic vows from the “young Mordechai ben Shabbat of Gadiel…”. The National Library claims it was printed between 1924-1930. 23x16cm. Stains and creases.

8. Leaf folded in two with a “wonderful segula for one to correct himself and his nefesh and his spirit and his neshama, it is established from the wonderful light of the Ari to say every day after Tikkun 48 from the Tikkunei HaZohar…”. Printed by HaShachar Jerusalem, Adar Alef 1965. 15.5x20cm, folded. Stains.
