A long halachic tshuva by the Rabbi of Alexandrov Kauvsky in Poland to Rabbi Tuvya Yehuda Tavyomi, the Rabbi of Sokhachin, a member of the Council of Torah Sages in Poland, and later in life in Tel Aviv. 1929. The letter describes a question which arrived to him from merchants in the city, who were selling fat brought from America which had been mixed with some other fat. He discusses at length with pilpul, and requests the opinion of Rabbi Tavyomi. The identity of the author was based on the written history in the letter of rabbis of the city of Alexandrov but signatures were not compared. See Me’orei Galicia, Volume 1, p. 688.
