Sefer Shut Mahari HaLevi, two sections (separate title page for each), by Rabbi Yitzhak Aharon HaLevi Ettinger, Av Beit Din of Przmylsan and Lviv. First edition, Lemberg 1893. [2], 114; [1], 94 leaves. Stains and a few defects. Overall good condition.
The leaf before the blank first page has the stamp of the Tiberias Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Refael HaKohen Kook.
Blank first page has a note in block letters: “belongs to the Admor Gmahar”i Margaliy’ Yafeh of Avdak Ra’agad.” Stamp: “Shmuel ben Gmahar”i Margaliyot Yafeh Schleisnger, Avdak Oronias-Morot” and “Mordechai Margaliyot Yafeh Schlesinger of Eisenstadt.” – This family of rabbis are the grandsons of the gaon Rabbi Mordechai Yafeh, the baal HaLevushim.
