Lot 172:
Letter handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Isser Zalman Melzer, the Even HaEzel, sent to Rabbi Yitzhak Gershenkoren, the Mayor of Bnei Brak. Jerusalem 1936. He asks for help from Rabbi Gershenkoren regarding rabbis immigrating from the Diaspora, who arrived in the aliyot before WWII. He was worried about their troubles in Europe and worked hard advising and supporting them in their acclimation to Israel.
14x22cm, light stains, good condition.
