He blesses: “just before the new year…for goodness and blessings, I bless you and your respected wife, with a ketiva and chatima tovah, for a sweet and good new year in gashmiyus and ruchniyus”, with a handwritten addition: “His friend” and “Hamevarchen”, signed by hand.
