The Chabad shochet certified in these letters, Rabbi Naftali Gloskin, son of Rabbi Schneur Zalman, a shoel u’bodek in the Rezitza community. He was son-in-law of Rabbi Shimon Moshe Diskin of Lechovitz, forefather of the Chabad Diskin family. His wife, Marat Tamar Ita was friendly with Rebbetzin Chana, the Rebbe’s mother, and even visited their home in Almaty (Kazakhstan) during the war. At the end of the war the Gloskin family moved to Moscow, and later Rebbetzin Chana also appeared in Moscow and the family took care of her then despite the fact that the “Schneerson” family had a black mark against them at the time from the authorities.
