Lot 009:
Sefer Torah Ohr Likkutei Amarim…ma’amarim on the order of the parshiyot in the Torah and for moadim, first section with droshim on Genesis and Exodus, by Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liady, collected by the Tzemach Tzedek from writings of Rabbi Yehuda Leib, brother of the Tanya. In fact, following the closure of the printing presses in Russia, the second part was only printed eleven years later and called Likkutei Torah, in Zhitomir 1848.
It is considered a foundational work of Chabad chassidus and the Rebbe instructed one to learn the ma’amar for the parsha every week and he called the book “Torah Bichtav of Chassidus”. Two title pages, partially in red ink. [1], 187 leaves, missing leaf 3, including a table of errors and corrections. Stains, tears without missing text, first pages are detached, first pages are dry at the edges, front binding is missing. Otherwise very good condition.
