Rabbi Asher Anshil Braun (1921-2005) would join many of the righteous of the generation, including the Rebbe of Satmar the Divrei Yoel, and in Israel Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak Kahane of Toldot Aharon, and with his recommendation he moved to Jerusalem. It is said of him that in his youth he once traveled about 18 km to hear a Rosh Hashanah sermon by the Rebbe of Satmar. He was known among the Kabbalists as one of the greatest mechavnim in Jerusalem but always ran away from publicity and walked by the side of the road. The highlight of his actions was the printing of an Assyrian script siddur that he printed following a miracle that happened to him.
