1. Refuat HaNefesh, 2 sections, by Rabbi Binyamin Meir ben Rabbi Elchanan the Maggid of Kremenschung. First section “an exegesis on illnesses of the soul and remedies for the 40 days from Rosh Chodesh Elul until Yom Kippur”. Approbation of the geonim: Natziv of Volozhin, Rabbi Haim Berlin, Rabbi Refael Shapira, Rabbi Yaakov Reines, Rabbi Yaakov David Ridbaz, and many more. Section 2 has a separate title page, drashot and eulogies on Jewish sages: the Natziv of Volozhin (apparently he gave his approbation to Part 1 long before the book was printed since by the time it was printed an obituary could already have been written for him), Rabbi Yeruham of Minsk, and Rabbi Yitzhak Elchanan Spector of Kovna. First edition, Berdichev 1906. 49, 23 leaves.
2. Chochmat Maharal, the disputation between the Maharal of Prague and the priest Johann Sylvester, in which he proves the veracity of the Talmud and more. First edition, Pietreko 1906. 58 pages in the original, this is missing the title page.
3. Dovev Sfatei Yeshanim, a eulogy on Admor Rabbi Issachar Dov Rokeach of Belz, the Maharid; and halachic responsa, by the Ra’avad of Tzfat, Rabbi Nachum Etrog. First edition, Jerusalem 1927. [8], 64 leaves. Approbations from Rabbi Shmuel Salant, Rabbi Yaakov David Ridbaz, the Gartza”p Frank and his beit din.
4. Sichot Holin of the Talmid Chacham Chadash, 2 sections, ma’amarim and intelligent expressions gathered from books by Rabbi Zvi Moscowitz. First edition, Morgita (Romania) 1947. [4], 55, [1] pages. Rare book, never seen in auctions until now.
5. Metika k’Duvsha, “likkutim and exegeses on the Pesach Haggadah from the Shach, Rabbeinu Akiva Eiger, Admorim and Tzaddikim, gathered by Rabbi Haim Shalom Schwartz, first edition Jerusalem 1948. [1], 16, 16 pages. Jacket with colored paper.
6. Likkutei Moharan by Rabbeinu Nachman of Breslav. Edition with additions—Jerusalem 1934. 32 pages.
7. Mishlei Yaakov on the Five Megillot by Rabbib Yaakov Kranz, the Maggid of Dubnov, written in Yiddish, printed in Lublin 1895?. The year is erased on the title page, and we were unable to determine it clearly. On the back of the title page the year 1864 is listed, but that year does not appear in any bibliographic listing. Originally printed together with the complete work on the Torah, two title pages, [2], 65-86, 7 leaves.
Tape and repairs to a number of leaves, moth hole from the title page through a number of pages. Stains, various defects, overall good condition.
