Sefer Milin d’Rabbanan with the handwriting, signature of Rabbi Haim Meir Hager: “a gift from the daughter of Rabbi Moshe Yeshaya Schwartz of Grosvardin, 1946,” and stamp: “Haim Meir ben Mohari of Vizhnitz.” Additional signature of ownership: “Moshe Stern of Selish” and signature on the blank first page of “Zvi Hersh…”. Missing the title page, tear with missing bit of a few pages, fair condition.

The Admor Rabbi Haim Meir Hager (1888-1972) was the son of Admor Rabbi Yisrael the Ahavas Yisrael of Vizhnitz, son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Zeev of Rachmastrivka, certified by the Maharsham of Brezan, and was rabbi in Wolichovitz (Romania) until the Shoah, after which he established the Vizhnitz chassidus in Israel. He founded Kiryat Vizhnitz, and Vizhnitz institutions which continue to flower in Bnei Brak. He was a member of the Council of Torah Sages and one of the most prominent Charedi leaders in Israel.
