Two sections in two volumes. “With the addition of…previously printed in Salonika already, with glosses of the Ari found in geniza of Rabbi Menachem di Lonzano. Edited by Rabbi Moshe Zechut, about whom is written “(The Merciful will preserve and redeem him)”.” Printed by Bragadin in Venice 1658.


Part 1: Zohar Chadash and Midrash HaNe’elam (originally: [2], 96 leaves). This copy is missing the title page—4-96. Missing also 17, 37, 38, 39, 52, 61, 66, 67, and leaf 16 is detached and torn in half.

Part 2: “Midrash HaNe’elam and Zohar Shir HaShirim and a bit of Eicha and Midrash Rut and Tikkunei Zohar Chadash” (58 leaves in the original). This copy is missing leaves 30-31. At the end are “Tikkunim HaRashbi” (originally 39, [1] leaves). This copy has 38 leaves.
Title page has a handsome woodcut engraving of King Solomon and Jeremiah the Prophet.

Stains, moth holes, old stains characteristic of the age, antique spines, page cuttings is in pink but faded. Overall fair condition. At the end of the work in both volumes is a Tunisian-Sefardi inscription noting that the book was received as a gift from “Yosef Aton.”
