Old printing of a picture of the Vilna Gaon. A nice picture of the Gra holding a book and writing with a quill. Under the picture is the inscription “the Gaon of Vilna Mofet HaDor, author of the Shnot Eliyahu, born 1st day of Pesach 1725, died 19th of Tishrei 1795.” This picture exists in a number of variations, this one is somewhat rare.


14×17.5cm (size of the frame), defects to the frame, defect in the edge of the glass (can’t be seen from the outside), defect at the edge of the picture, light creases in the picture, otherwise good condition. Not checked outside the frame.
