Lot 133:
Deed for a house sale from Rabbi Zvi Yona of Botchach to Rabbi Asher of Stoptlan, an exciting document of the sale of a house, which almost never happened because of taboos, exiles, divisions of property, etc. “From my yard one walks to the hallway, on the right side of the hallway is the apartment sold above…its windows open onto the apartment of Rabbi Haim Beer Melamed…”. Nice sofer handwriting, stamped by Ashkenazi rabbis of Tzfat, “Shimshon bar Feivel, the Rabbi of the Holy city”, “Menachem Mendel of Rivnok ben HaGaon of Wielkotitz”,
and signature of the witnesses “Haim Yaakov Rotenburg”. On the back of the leaf is a will related to a mortgage on the house, signed by the witnesses “Mordechai Dov bar David”, “Gershon bar Eliezer Snevil”.
The bottom of the leaf has a din and other words between the same individuals, stamped again by Rabbi Shimshon and Rabbi Menachem Mendel, dayanim of Tzfat.
28x20cm. Folding creases, very good condition.
