Set of the five books of Torah with translations: Onkelos, Yerushalmi, and Yonatan. Started in Metz in 1766. Each volume has Siftei Chachamim at the end, as well as the order of haftaroth “according to the Ashkenazi, Sefardi, and Italian minhagim”, plus megillot, with a separate title page. 1. Genesis—1766. [3], 127, 127-133, 13, 12 leaves. Probably missing one page from the beginning (not the body of the work). 2. Exodus—1766. [1], 112, 6. Original also has: 2, 42 leaves. 3. Leviticus—1767. [1], 82, 6, 9, 9-28 leaves. 4. Numbers—1767. [1], 105, 5, 18 leaves. 5. Deuteronomy—1767. [1], 96, 5, 18, [1], 19-46 leaves. Genesis, Exodus, and Deuteronomy have an additional engraved title page which isn’t mentioned in the numbering from various bibliographic catalogues. New leather bindings, inscribed with ornaments and gold. Stains, light defects, professional repairs to a number of spots with damage to the edges of some text. Overall very good condition. Various notes of ownership.
