Halachic responsa by the gaon Rabbi David ben Zimra, known as the Radbaz. Third section. Printed by Itzik ben David with the orphans of Haim the Printer. [1], 58, 41-46, [2] leaves. Stefanski Sifrei Yesod 281. Some of the bibliographic listsings note 2 additional leaves after the title page, it’s unclear what they are, and it may be that that’s a bibliographer’s mistake or from erroneous printings. Approbations from rabbis of Furth and Hildesheim. Title page has a handsome woodcut of Moses and Aaron. Old binding, leather spine. Stains, a few moth marks and brown paper, overall fair condition. Rabbi David son of Zimra – the Ridbaz (1479-1575), rabbi of the city of Safed, rabbi of the Ari and of Rabbi Bezalel Ashkenazi author of the Shita Mekubetzet.
