1. Beit Shlomo: Laws of melicha (salting), by Rabbi Alter Shlomo Meir Friedman, Jerusalem 1892. [3], 41 leaves. Moth damage, fair condition. Bound with Beit Shlomo, third section on halachot of mixtures (ta’arovot), Jerusalem 1899. [1], 41, 13 leaves. Moth holes, tape on the last leaf without missing bits, fair to good condition. Also bound with a small pamphlet at the end, Beit Shlomo on halachot Issur v’Heter, by the same author, with translation into Judeo-Arabic. Published by the sages of the Maghreb, Rabbi Avraham ben Susan and Rabbi Yosef Ancinona, brought to them by the author’s widow, the “Almana HaAzuva” Tzipora Shapra. This pamphlet is extremely rare! 8 leaves. 19cm. Moth holes, fair to good condition. 2. Beit LaAvot, a commentary on Pirkei Avot by Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Levi, with additional commentary on Avot (mystical) by Maran the Ari, printed originally in the Shmone She’arim of the Maharhav, Jerusalem 1905.
