Typewritten letter on official letterhead from the 9th of Shvat, 1959, in Yiddish, in which the Rebbe expresses an interest in the activity of the “Women and Girls of Chabad”, and encourages and blesses them to expand their activity and numbers. Later he references Zion and blesses in Yiddish and in Hebrew: “with blessings for besorot tovot in nirah and nigla”. Signed by the secretary Rabbi Eliyahu Quint “in the name of the Admor shlita.” As is well-known, many letters signed in the name of the secretary were actually signed by the Rebbe himself in the secretary’s name.
