Lot 181:
One of the most famous works of kabbalah, by Rabbi Aharon of Cardina, author of Igeret HaTe’amim, with a deep commentary by the kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropol. At the end is printed likkutei shoshanim, also by Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropol. These two books are the main works by Rabbi Shimshon to have survived until today. In the introduction to Dan Yadin he notes additional books that he wrote such as Machaneh Dan, Ben Mano’ach, Nezer Elokim, and more, which have not been preserved, unfortunately. 29, [5] leaves. 19cm. Good condition, stains, moth holes in the last pages, new binding.
