Lot 108:
“Siddur HaMachzor, first section, nusach Ashkenaz”, printed by Zeckel ben Aharon, Zulzbach. Based on the title page it was printed in 1794 but the colophon of the second section claims instead it was in 1806.
Title page is made from a handsome woodcut engraving: Moshe and Aharon, Jacob’s dream, the Migdal HaPalga, Noah’s Ark, and other Biblical motifs. [1], 54, [6 unnumbered leaves – the full Shir HaYichud], 158, [1], 159-232 leaves.
At the end is Hadarat Kodesh, 12 leaves. Stains, one page has tape at the edge which damages the text. Tears at the bottom of some pages, a few moth holes, later binding, overall fair to good condition.
Note in a European language on the blank first page.
