Large chamsa, made from nails taken from an old train track. The sculpture stands on a square bronze board. Stamped: “Michel Wolman”. Heavy—2111g.

Michel Wolman was born in Paris in 1946 and grew up in Provence and Normandy. Between 1966-67 he served in the Foreign Legion and in 1969 he moved to Israel and settled in Kibbutz Hulda. In the 70s he worked at a workshop under Menashe Kadishman and created models for artists like Yitzhak Danziger and Dani Karavan. In those years he exhibited his work in various exhibits. After that he ceased creating work for 13 years. He lives and works now in Tel Aviv.
