“Pamphlet of pictures published in a special edition, 250 copies(!), a gift for friends who participated in the struggle for the Hebrew ‘Colas’. By the translator and publisher, Tel Aviv, 1st of Adar 1950.”
Colas Breugnon was the creation of the French dramatist and author Romain Rolland (1866-1944), accompanied originally by illustrations by Y. Kubrick and translated by Avraham Shlonsky, Poalim Library.
This copy is a special, limited edition with just the illustrations and quotes taken from the book. Dedication handwritten by the translator. 32 leaves.
