A work on Masechet Ketubot, an important text popular throughout the Jewish people and more well-known by the title “Shita Mekubetzet”. By the gaon Rabbi Betzalel Ashkenazi. Two sections in two volumes, printed in Strasbourg. Rare publisher without many books. 79, 138, [2], 117, 45 leaves. Missing one leaf from the beginning of the first section, not from the body of the work. Approbations from Rabbi Yosef Steinhart of Furth, Rabbi Zvi Auerbach the Av Beit Din of Worms, and more. Paper bindings, the first title page has been repaired but is partially missing, tape with missing text, stains and tears, overall fair to good condition.

Volume 1 has a signature on the title page: “Yisrael Asher Eisenstadt.” Volume two on the back of the title page has a blurred stamp with the name: “Sharshover Haim Perlmutter” and the stamp: “Haim ben Zevulun Yaakov.”
