Letter written entirely by hand on stationery of the Admor Rabbi Moshe Yitzhak Gewirtzman (Rabbi Itzik’leh) of Peshversk (“now in Antwerp”). At the beginning he writes with effusive blessings for a “good new year, blessed with health and yeshuot and parnasa tova…the holy Moshe Yitzhak, grandson of Rabbi Elimelech, may his zechus protect us and all of Israel, amen.” Later in the letter is the handwriting of his son-in-law, his successor Admor Rabbi Yaakov Leizer (Rabbi Yankaleh) of Peshversk, who also blesses the recipient with “health and long life, nachat, all good things forever…”. He signs by hand. On the back is an additional letter written and signed by the rabbanit Alte Bina Leizer, wife of Rabbi Yankaleh and daughter of Rabbi Itzik’leh, written entirely in Yiddish. 20×13.5cm.
