Small booklet with jacket binding, entitled “Segulah” with prayers “to save one and one’s family from danger and evil events” (Segulla pour se proteger, contre tout danger—written in French as well). Published by the Ahava v’Achva yeshiva in Cairo, printed by Yosef Yehezkel in Cairo 1940, in Hebrew and Rench, with an introduction by the Va’ad and rabbis of Cairo, Rabbi Yehuda Haim Meselton and Rabbi Nasim Uchana, who write an approbation: “The seder and prayer mentioned below are a segula for preservation and to save one from all evil and difficulties and from war, especially during such evil times…[at the end of 1940 Egypt was attacked by Italy and then the Germans].” 12 leaves. 13cm. The jacket binding is faded somewhat. Stains. Overall good condition.
