New Sefardi siddur “in the Holy Tongue [Hebrew] and Marathi printed by the printer Rabbi Yosef Yehezkel Rogforcher…edited by Shimon Yaakov Krilcher” in Bombay. Hebrew and Marathi on facing pages. Three title pages, in Hebrew, English, and Marathi. [5], 380, [10] leaves. The National Library includes it in the Rare Books section (and in general, it is difficult to find old siddurim in good condition because of their daily use, and Indian books even moreso; this book is in excellent condition and is therefore exceedingly rare). A few moth holes on the last pages, light stains, original binding, leather spine is inscribed with Hebrew and Marathi, overall good condition.

At the end of the introduction is a signature from the publisher with the date 6 December 1934. The date matches the date of printing. Stamp: “S.I. Solomon.”
