Lot 090:
Sofer work on parchment—Ashkenazi script (Beit Yosef minhag). Megillat HaMelech with uniform writing throughout,
gorgeous. At the beginning is an illustration of Jerusalem with doves, framed in gold. Each column throughout the megillah is framed by handsome colorful pillars made to look like marble, above which are colorful curtains with precise folds and golden decorations. Each column has a different primary color, with a base matching the curtain. Each pillar has a different stylish plant, and various stylish birds. The 10 sons of Haman are accompanied by 10 black bats. The end of the megillah has a signature with a colorful peacock spreading its wings in glory with the signature of the artist: "Chaya H". A work of art, unique and spectacular in its beauty.
Height of the parchment: 33cm. Height of the writing: 16.5cm. 21 lines per column. Sold as kosher.
