Sefer Eliyahu Mizrachi on the Torah, an important and central commentary written on Rashi’s commentary of the Torah, by Rabbi Eliyahu Mizrahi (the Ram). With many approbations given in this edition. This edition also features Rashi’s words in block letters with the Mizrahi exegesis in Rashi script. Mas’ei, leaf 211b there is a printed map of the land of Israel, in which the east faces upward. This map, first printed in 1517, is illustrated mainly with straight lines and squares/rectangles, and is the first Hebrew map ever printed—printed by Itzik the printer in Furth 1763. [2], 241 leaves. Tape at the edges of some places, sometimes with light damage to the margins of the text, stains, defect to the spine, new binding, overall good condition.
