Lot 108:
Letter from the Rebbe Admor Rabbi Yosef Yitzhak Schneerson, the Rayatz of Lubavitch. Typewritten on official letterhead, from the 11th of Tishrei 1935, addressed to “my friend Yosef Shmotkin”,
in which the Rebbe offers brachot on a variety of subjects “may Hashem strengthen your health and that of your wife and your daughter and sons, may they live and may he bring them a good shidduch”. Then the rabbi transitions to issues of parnasa and suggests “in addition to focusing on his orchard may he work in brokerages and may hashem give him good business deals, and give him fruits of his orchard, and may his livelihood be enough to pay all his debts so that he may set times for Torah and avodah, and may Hashem help him with fulfilling the debt in a good manner, with a gmar hatima tova”. Signed by the Rayatz by hand.
