Lot 182:
“On the Torah and Nach with some shitot of Shas and the poskim”, by Rabbi Moshe bar Yaakov Aharon Perlmutter, the Rabbi of Radom. [5], 88, [1], 90-111, [9] leaves. Partially missing: 2 out of 3 pages from the corrections/omissions pages at the end of the book; the end of the subscriber lists (tear missing the bottom of one page). Moth holes in a number of places, stains and moisture. Overall good condition. This is the only work decorated with an endorsement from Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk: “Here in Kotzk, 7th of Av 1958”—around 6 months before his death on the 22nd of Shvat 1859. Endorsements also from the Chiddushei HaRim of Gur, Rabbi Meir Auerbach when he was in the rabbinate of Kalish, and others. Signatures on the title page and end: “Elazar Yosef Knobel [?]”
