Printed invitation: “We are honored to request your honor to participate in the simchah of the marriage of our daughter Marat Chana Miriam to Mar Haim Shmuelevitz on the 3rd of Tevet 1930 in Mir. With appreciation, Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel, Rosh Yeshiva, and his wife Malka.” At the bottom-right is the address: “Mir.” Filing holes, size 10×14.5cm.
Rabbi Haim Leib Shmuelevitz (1902-1979) was nicknamed „Haim Stochiner” after his city of birth, Stochin. He served as Rosh Yeshivat Mir in Lithuania, succeeding his father-in-law, while they were in Shanghai during World War II and then in Israel.
