Handsome case for a small sefer torah with a silver crown made by hand in a unique and interesting fashion

Handsome case for a small Sfardi Sefer Torah. At the top is a crown coated in silver inlaid with red gemstones and bells. Beautiful work, the case is based around a wooden frame with purple velvet coating, with embroidery of a Star of David. The clasps for closing are made of gilded metal, and inside is a printed Sefer Torah on paper. Stamped silver “Sterling 925”. Missing the formica coating on one side of the crown top. Height: 34cm.
