Lot 220:
Typewritten letter on official letterhead of the rabbi’s secretariat, from 20th of Tammuz 1976, “notifying you about what came to my knowledge last time I was in New York, and the furor in many meetings about the set donations to Agudat Yavneh v’Chochmei…I am interested to know more.” Signature of the secretary Rabbi H. M. A. Chedkov. Many letters supposedly signed by the secretaries were actually the Rebbe himself signing using the secretary’s name. Folding creases, filing holes, tears at the bottom without damage to text, overall good condition. From the 7th Chabad Rebbe, the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch (April 18, 1902 – June 12, 1994).
