Rishon LeZiyyon: seven shitot on some masechtot of Shas, written by Rabbi Haim ben Atar, the Ohr HaHayyim. This time only printed with Masechet Brachot even though the title page lists all of the masechtot that were composed. Pritned by Moshe Eliezer Balinson, 1867. 26 leaves. The last page has a rare endorsement by the Admor Rabbi David of Tolna, which was printed in only some copies: “the zechut of the author will assist you forever…”. Bound with Ptach Einayim on Masechet Avot by the Hida, with Kitvei Kodesh by Rabbi Elimelech of Luzhansk at the end. The last page has the first-ever printing of the Igeret HaKodesh with mussar from Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimnov to one of his chassidim in Modo in 1812. This edition was printed with the assistance and oversight of the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska (rabbi of Rav Yeshayle of Krestirer), in Munkatch 1874. On the back of the title page is the endorsement of the Rahak of Liska from 1872. 28 leaves. Stefanski Chassidut 485. Title page is torn with damage to text. Various defects including moisture stains. Mold and a few moth holes. Tape in a number of places. Overall fair condition. Old binding is worn and detached.
