“the second section of a pamphlet from old and ancient writings”, a composition on kabbalah organized alphabetically and written by Rabbeinu Haim Yosef David Azoulay (the Hida). With notes and an endorsement by Rabbi Shaul HaLevi Natanson. Printed in Lemberg in 1863. 79 pages. Stains. Moth damage at the edges of pages, clear tape on the title page and many other pages, a few glued pages, overall fair condition.

Throughout the book are notes, glosses, and chiddushim written in Sefardi handwriting, some of which are long and significant. The title page and first page note that the handwriting is by the author of a book called the “Radeh HaDvash”. The signature can only be parsed to read “Shlomo…”. The full name is cut off from the page.
