Sha’arei Kedusha: mussar and kabbalah by Rabbi Haim Vittel, a partially missing copy bound together with Alim L’Trufah, which includes the Ramban’s letter and the Gra’s letter sent to members of their families, and the Orchot Hayyim of the Rosh. The edition before us was responsible for the spread of the Gra’s letters among the Mizrachi communities. In addition, it was printed with many changes from the common version, see more about that in Winograd [Otzer Sifrei HaGra 1150], who writes: “Were there two versions of the Gra’s letter? Although the edition from Aleppo testifies to corrections, according to the publisher there were manuscripts and he did not correct anything…”. Printed by Eliyahu Hai bar Avraham Sasson. Sha’arei Kedusha is missing the title page and a number of pages: [1], 1, 5-48 leaves; 8 leaves. Old binding is worn and detached, stains and a few moth holes. Overall good condition.
