Huge silver cup for the Seder night, modern design made by casting, embossing, welding, engraving, and cutting. Decorations of a wall and beautiful pillars as were used in the Beit HaMikdash, as well as the famous Jerusalem stones. There is a framed elliptical plate between the pillars, with unique enamel work featuring each of the four sons of the Haggadah with a matching inscription. This work was done to match the illustrations in the Haggadah by the artist Boris Shatz of Betzalel. Designed the Judaica artist Ezra Landau. Stamped 925 and with the artist’s stamp. Weight: 1015g. Diameter: 10cm. Height: 15cm. Overall good condition.

The artist Ezra Landau was born in 1947 in Oshgoret, Russia. He moved to Israel in 1972. Upon his Aliyah, he began to design unique Judaica items such as chanukiyot, cups, spice containers. His creations were purchased by Israeli Presidents and given as gifts to national leaders. One of his well-known creations is the menorah placed near the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
