Especially large, handsome copy, with gilded page cuttings, containing facsimiles of various rare manuscripts held at the University of Oxford. Title page and introduction in English, printed in London. The text in Hebrew appears on the back of every facsimile page. Among the manuscripts appearing: Mechilta, Reishit Chochmah, Sefer HaMechaber, Eshkol HaKofer, and many others. Various defects in the bindings and body, handsome copy in good condition.
